In addition to vehicles, the use of the route by <strong class=\"mce\">passengers<\/strong>, which increased by 0.49%, and <strong class=\"mce\">container traffic<\/strong>, by 0.53%, also offered positive data in the first six months of 2023.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mce\"><strong class=\"mce\">South Wharf<\/strong> currently has five weekly connections with the Canary Islands, three of them with ro-pax ferry type vessels (cargo and passengers), one ro-ro and one connection with a container ship. To promote this market, the Port of Huelva created a year ago the &#8216;Route1400 Huelva-Canary Islands&#8217;, with which it has encouraged the involvement of the different shipping companies in the promotion of these maritime connections. <strong class=\"mce\">Three from Bale\u00e0ria- Fred.
