This is especially relevant given that the connection is strategic for the Canary Islands, not only in terms of passenger transport but also for freight transport and the supply of goods to the archipelago.<\/p>\n<h3>Greater cargo capacity<\/h3>\n<p><strong>The ferry<\/strong> is 172 meters long and has capacity for 944 passengers, 390 vehicles, and up to 1,850 linear meters of cargo.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, during the summer months and through October, the shipping company will also have <strong>one of Balearia\u2019s ro-pax vessels operating on a charter basis<\/strong>, in
