Yesterday we had the opportunity to attend a key event for the sector: the 1st Agri-Food Port Logistics Conference, organized by the Port of Huelva and the Spanish Transport Association (AET).
A meeting that brought together more than one hundred professionals and focused on:
🌾 Trends in agri-food dry bulk cargo
❄️ Growth of reefer traffic
🚛 Logistical challenges in a sector undergoing major transformation
👉 The two roundtable discussions addressed, from different perspectives, the challenges and opportunities facing the sector, with the participation of leading companies (including several HuelvaPort member companies) that provided a strategic, practical vision closely connected to daily operations.
🔍 The event concluded with a technical visit to the Ingeniero Juan Gonzalo Quay and the South Quay (Muelle Sur), where attendees were able to learn first-hand about the projects driving the competitiveness and modernization of the Port of Huelva.
From HuelvaPort, we value these spaces for collaboration, learning and connection between companies, which strengthen the role of the Port of Huelva as a key logistics hub for the agri-food sector and for the entire port community.
