Huelva seeks to establish itself as a destination for luxury cruise ships.

Huelva wants to establish itself as a destination for the so-called luxury cruise tourism, a tourist model that has a great impact on the provincial economy. The Blue tourism,Blue tourism, as this tourist segment is known, is an important injection for the local and national economies, as revealed by the data that the sector itself shows, given that for every 24 cruise passengers, the equivalent of one full-time job is created and, on average, each passenger spends 660 euros in the destinations they visit during a seven-day cruise.

FOE hosted this Thursday a conference focused on luxury cruise tourism and its impact on the provincial economy, jointly promoted by the Business Organization, through its Tourism Business Council and the Provincial Association of Travel Agencies, with the collaboration of the City of Huelva, the Provincial Delegation of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport of the Junta de Andalucía and the Port Authority of Huelva.
