Andalusia’s exports totalled €30.28 billion between January and September, marking a 6.2% year-on-year increase compared with the 0.3% decline recorded across Spain as a whole.

Huelva recorded €5.84 billion in exports during the first nine months of the year, representing a 1.8% increase compared with the same period in 2023. With 19.3% of total sales abroad, the province ranks as the second-largest exporting province in Andalusia, according to data provided by Andalucía TRADE.

Between January and September this year, Andalusia’s exports reached €30.279 billion, driven by a year-on-year growth of 6.2%, in contrast with the 0.3% decline recorded in Spain’s overall exports, which totalled €268.806 billion. Andalusia is also the only region among Spain’s five largest exporting regions to record growth.

With this performance, Andalusia stands as the third-largest exporting region in Spain between January and September 2024 and the only one among the five leading exporters to grow. These five regions together account for two out of every three euros of Spain’s total exports (66.9%): Catalonia (-2.9%), the Community of Madrid (-7.6%), the Valencian Community (-2.7%) and the Basque Country (-5%).
