The CirCular project, developed by Atlantic Copper in Huelva, has been selected by the European Union as one of the seven strategic projects in Spain related to the extraction, processing and recycling of raw materials.
This recognition will allow the project to benefit from improved access to financing and faster permitting processes, supporting the EU’s objective of reducing external dependence on critical raw materials.
The initiative involves an investment of more than €350 million, reinforcing Huelva’s role as a key industrial hub for circular economy and strategic raw materials in Europe.
