During the event, the port is presenting its maritime and rail connectivity, the new infrastructure for general cargo at Muelle Sur, and the development of its future Logistics Activities Zone (ZAL), key projects aimed at strengthening its role as a logistics hub in southern Europe.

Particular attention is being given to the port’s extensive network of international connections, which link Huelva with Northern Europe, Morocco, West Africa, the Spanish Mediterranean, the Canary Islands, the Mediterranean basin, the Middle East, India and Pakistan.

Within the framework of the fair, the Technology Department of the Port of Huelva is also participating in the roundtable discussion “Smart Ports: Beyond Digitalization in Port Management”, organised by Puertos del Estado, ICEX and the Commercial Office of Germany, highlighting the port’s commitment to digital innovation and smart port development.
