Recently, the turbine rotor of Endesa’s Cristóbal Colón thermal power plant made a remarkable journey from Huelva to Abu Dhabi to undergo a refurbishment process. This key component, measuring more than 12 meters in length and weighing close to 100 tonnes, was transported through a highly complex logistics operation.
💪This action demonstrates the logistical capacity and collaboration of the port community of Huelva, highlighting the teamwork of our associates Servimad Huelva, the Port of Huelva, and other key actors to ensure the success of this operation.
🔄 🔄 The rotor, which has already returned to Huelva and is currently being reinstalled, will allow a new operational cycle of up to 50,000 hours, ensuring energy supply for the coming years.
