The president of the Port of Huelva, Alberto Santana,

visited the construction works accompanied by the Head of the Projects and Works Department, Guadalupe Díaz. During the visit they confirmed that the installation process of the metal structures, which will support the pipelines carrying the cold distribution network, is already well advanced, with structures currently being placed near Muelle Sur. Esta actuación está financiada en un 100% con fondos europeos del Mecanismo para la Recuperación y la Resiliencia (MRR) del programa NEXT GENERATION EU.

According to Santana, the Cold Logistics Hub, located within the Multimodal Platform at Muelle Sur, aims to become a benchmark facility in southern Europe for temperature-controlled cold storage, both frozen and refrigerated.
