The port is set to host more than a dozen energy projects linked to clean fuels, reinforcing its role in the energy transition.

 

During a roundtable organised by the company Moeve, titled “Driving the decarbonisation of maritime transport: the role of ports and innovation in green fuels,” the president of the Port of Huelva, Alberto Santana, emphasised the port’s strategic commitment—outlined in its Strategic Plan 2023–2030 with a vision to 2050—to playing a key role in the energy transition and the decarbonisation of the transport sector.

In this context, the Port of Huelva is making land available within its public port domain for the development of industrial projects linked to new energy sources and clean fuels.
