👉 The event, organised by the Port of Huelva, aims to promote dialogue and share knowledge on key challenges such as climate change adaptation, the energy transition and sustainable innovation in port infrastructures.

👉 The opening sessions highlighted a central idea that resonated throughout the discussions: ports of the 21st century must go beyond being efficient logistics platforms and become strategic infrastructures in the fight against climate change, acting as drivers of transport decarbonisation and as active partners in the environmental restoration of their surrounding areas.

👉 The forum will continue with a second session focusing on the compatibility between port development and environmental protection, the valorisation of maritime waste and the challenges related to water management and land use.

With this new edition, the Port of Huelva reinforces its position not only as a strategic logistics hub in southern Europe, but also as a benchmark in environmental governance within the port sector, contributing to a more sustainable, resilient and equitable economy.
