The Port of Huelva begins the year with expectations of increased port traffic.

👏The first two months of the year have delivered a very positive performance: over 5 million tonnes handled between January and February, representing a +4.25% increase compared to the same period last year. A boost that reflects the commitment and coordination of the entire logistics chain operating in our port.

🛢️ The President of the Port Authority of Huelva, Alberto Santana, highlights in particular the recovery of liquid bulk cargo, which has grown by +8.49%. Among these, energy products stand out — a segment in which we continue to be a national benchmark.

🚢 We also welcome the significant increase in general cargo, which is up by 17.4%, reaching 276,000 tonnes. This growth confirms the diversification of traffic and the consolidation of the port as a strategic logistics hub for southwestern Europe.
