The Port of Huelva
has inaugurated a new double Ro-Ro ramp at Muelle Sur, a key infrastructure to increase exports and imports through roll-on/roll-off cargo. This project, which allows the operation of up to four ferry-type vessels simultaneously, represents an investment of €19.4 million.
👉 We highlight the work of Ferrovial, responsible for the construction of the platform and civil works, as well as our associates ALTUM Ingeniería y Servicios S.L., in charge of the naval engineering project, and Nuevo Astilleros, where the floating platform was built.
👉 This project, supported by Puertos del Estado, the Regional Government of Andalusia and the European Union, strengthens the European Atlantic Corridor and promotes multimodality and sustainability in freight transport.
