Atlantic Copper has consolidated its leadership in the “responsible production” of refined copper and sulfuric acid in 2022, a year in which it has also continued to be positioned in 2022 as one of the most efficient smelters in the world in terms of energy consumption per ton of copper processed, according to the Social Responsibility Report (2022).
Entitled ‘The Social Conductivity of Copper’ offers an X-ray of the company’s milestones during the past year, detailing the achievements recorded in the different strategic axes of the company and a balance of the frameworks of reference of its activity, Atlantic Copper reported in a statement.
During the past year, Atlantic Copper has also made progress in its ‘cirCular’ project, which, with an investment of 310 million euros during the 24 months of construction, will be the basis for future innovation projects that will allow exploring new business developments, which will revolve around the critical metals that society will require in the coming decades.
