Baleària and Fred. Olsen Express strengthen their route between the Canary Islands and Huelva this summer, offering four weekly services. Specifically, between 1 July and 30th of September they will increase from three to four sailings a week in each direction. This will double the number of sailings offered during the same period last year.

The route is operated by two ships: the vessel Sicilia, which has capacity for 1,000 passengers and 400 vehicles, as well as the ferry Marie Curie, which can accommodate more than 800 passengers and 600 vehicles. This extension of the connections will enable the high demand forecast for the summer period to be met, both for passengers and for the transport of goods between the mainland and the Canary Islands.

From 1st of July, departures will be offered from Huelva on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, all of them to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, with the exception of the Wednesday trip, which will only connect with Tenerife. Departures from the islands will be on Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays, with two journeys from Tenerife on the latter day. Information via: Huelva Información.
