The works are scheduled to start in 2025 and to be operational in 2027, with 20,000 tons of production per year.

Gabitel’s Renewable Energies division will design, develop and process the engineering project and all the infrastructures associated with the project (water, gas, electricity,…) and will also carry out the water and subsidy management of the new 160 MW green hydrogen plant that the Chinese multinational company Trina Solar will build in Huelva and whose first phase contemplates an investment of 160 million euros.

The project, located in the Huelva Business Park in Huelva, will be installed in a first phase on an area of 30,000 square meters, although the City Council and Trina Solar are already working on the expansion of the project, with a second phase of 44 hectares. The construction of the plant, which will generate 200 jobs and 50 already in operation, is scheduled to start in 2025 and to be operational as early as 2025, with an estimated annual production of 20,000 tons.
