The HuelvaPort Association, made up of the companies of the Port Community of Huelva, presents its Action Plan for 2024, with which it aspires to strengthen its brand, reinforcing its presence in relevant events of the logistics sector, favouring the consolidation and growth of the companies and contributing to the rapprochement of the importing and exporting business network, boosting relations with local companies.
Its Board of Directors, which met last week, highlighted the main commercial actions carried out during this year 2023.
During the session, chaired by Antonio Ponce, president of HuelvaPort, it was highlighted the attendance to national and international events such as Transport Logistics in Munich, BreakBulk in Rotterdam, FITUR in Madrid or the National Congress of Red Fruits, among others. Likewise, the Association was also present at relevant local events such as the annual Short Sea Shipping conference in Huelva.
Similarly, the HuelvaPort association has highlighted the role of the customs forum that it organises periodically, where it is customary to discuss the latest developments in customs inspections and customs services, as well as the needs of the Port Community in this area. This forum has become a reference tool for analysing the needs of users and the market.
With a view to 2024, among other actions, the HuelvaPort Association aspires to strengthen its brand, with a renewal of its logo, emphasising the concept of association, of which more than fifty companies and entities form part, joining forces for the commercial promotion of the Port of Huelva.. It is also planned to hold presentations and business meetings in various parts of the hinterland of the Port of Huelva, to publicise all the services and new developments that the companies of the port community of Huelva can offer.

On the other hand, during the session, information was provided on the launch of the “Use your Port” project, a personalised service whose mission is to promote the Port Community’s general merchandise commercial services, through the identification, management and personalised attention to the needs and expectations of large and small shippers in the Port of Huelva’s hinterland. This service will be channelled through HuelvaPort and will be presented in the coming months.
In addition, new services have also been included in the Association’s portfolio, such as consultancy services and market studies, identification of funding calls for members and support for port community projects, management of joint participation in trade fairs and congresses and the scheduling of various colloquiums between HuelvaPort members, where they can present their new projects and generate synergies between them.
This new action plan renews the commitment of the entire port community as a driving force for the business fabric, the creation of development opportunities and the transmission of these opportunities to society as a whole.
