The Port of Huelva will launch the cruise season on April 24 with the visit of the vessel Le Champlain, a luxury exploration yacht operated by the French cruise line Ponant, which will dock for the first time at the Muelle de Levante. The 131‑metre‑long vessel has capacity for 184 passengers and a crew of 118. The ship’s shipping agent is Noatum Maritime.
Likewise, the vessel Vidanta World’s Elegant, belonging to the Mexican group Vidanta World, is scheduled to call at the Port of Huelva for the first time. Its docking is planned for April 26. This luxury ship is 150 metres long and has capacity for 298 passengers and the same number of crew members. The ship’s shipping agent is Pérez y Cía.
The arrival of cruise ships at the Port of Huelva is coordinated by Huelva Cruise Network, a working group dedicated to planning the reception of vessels. It is made up of the Huelva Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Employers of Huelva (FOE), the Destino Huelva Agency, the City Council of Huelva, the Regional Government of Andalusia, tourism companies, and the Port Authority of Huelva.
