The Port of Huelva has broken a record in 2023 in the granting of concessions and authorisations for public port space, after reaching the figure of 4.1 million square metres, distributed among 300 companies holding the same. During the year, concessions granted amounted to more than 514,000 square metres and authorisations to more than 60,500.

The president of the Port of Huelva, Alberto Santana, accompanied by the director of the Port of Huelva, Ignacio Álvarez-Ossorio, made these figures known today during a review of the 2023 financial year. Alberto Santana highlighted the continuous growth of the Port of Huelva, motivated by the start-up of new projects, as a result of the concessions and authorisations granted, of which seven projects stand out.
