It will be located in the south of the Ingeniero Juan Gonzalo Wharf.
The Port of Huelva, one of the main references in the movement of bulk liquids in the Spanish port system, with an annual volume of more than 24.8 million tonnes in the last financial year, is planning to build a new bulk liquid terminal in the south of the Muelle Ingeniero Juan Gonzalo. To this end, a few days ago, it adjudicated the technical assistance for the drafting of the project for the quay for the liquid bulk terminal to the south of the Muelle Ingeniero Juan Gonzalo wharf at the Port of Huelva to the company Ingeniería Especializada Obra Civil e Industrial, S.A.
As stated in the Strategic Plan for the Port of Huelva 2023-2030 with a vision to 2050, the Port of Huelva has made progress in the consolidation of the traditional liquid and solid bulk traffics and diversification of the business. With a view to the future, the Port of Huelva will continue to improve its infrastructures to constitute an energy cluster, capable of responding to the activity of the first industrial zone of Andalusia and the second in Spain, both in traditional fuels and in new energy models.
