The merits that support this recognition, according to the jury, include the company’s outstanding logistics process, efficient human resources management and an outstanding international projection.

Grupo Transonuba (GTO) has received the Plus Ultra award for business excellence in the framework of the “Noche de la Economía”, an event promoted by the Huelva Chamber of Commerce and the multinational company Cepsa.

During his speech, the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Huelva, Daniel Toscano mentioned the meaning of the Plus Ultra award “we seek to recognize what symbolizes that historic flight in the idea of going beyond what was considered possible at that time, crossing the Atlantic in a pioneering air crossing”. A motto that, in addition, “symbolizes expansion, overcoming limits and the search for new horizons”.

A meaning that fits perfectly with the distinguished company. “Grupo Transonuba, represents in itself that meaning, a family business founded by Esteban Sánchez 38 years ago that was born with the aim of providing logistics solutions to the berry sector, which at that time was emerging in Huelva”. With this vocation of service, Toscano said, “has accompanied and contributed to the development of the transport sector, which has evolved significantly, being currently a global sector, very dynamic and professionalized”.
